Appointment of first auditor

04 January 2011 as per the relevant provision first auditor shall be appoint by BOD within 30days from the date of incorporation.

i want to know that the above 30days counted from which date eg. Incorporation date or date of getting certificate of commencement of business.

04 January 2011 S.224(5) Says

(5) The first auditor or auditors of a company shall be appointed by the Board of directors within one month of the date of registration of the company; and the auditor or auditors so appointed shall hold office until the conclusion of the first annual general meeting :

Hence Consider 30 days from Incorporation Date
