Can you tell me procedure regarding appointment of statutory auditor of company as director in a private company?

Director refers to the whole time director, executive director or independent director. If it is a independent director, the appointment procedure is specified in S.149(6) of Companies Act, 2013. Schedule IV prescribes Code for Independent directors.
