01 March 2014 Hi I have a query as to whether there is need to apply PAN Card for sole proprietorship although we are having a PAN card in the status of Individual.If yes what will be the date of birth to be filled in the application sole proprietorship DOB or individual date of birth ?

01 March 2014 no addtional PAN should be applied for. The PAN of proprietor is to be used for the business of proprietorship..

01 March 2014 Proprietory business dosen't hv different PAN, it works on the PAN of proprietor him/her self. So there is no need 4 seperate PAN 4 the business.
