19 February 2011 If assessee prefer appeal against order of CIT(A) order, and apply in Form 36 with prescribed fees.
If Memorandum of cross objection is not filed by respondent in Form No 36A, What are the consequences?
Can ITAT pass one sided order in such situation?

20 February 2011 It is not mandatory to file cross objection. ITAT will hear appeal and decide the case on merit.
