Where in any statute, the term which has been defined u/s 2 of the respective statute, it applies to the Respective ACT.
The term BODY CORPORATE is defined u/s 2(7) of the companies act,1956.
In this regard, sec 2(7) includes the companies.
Every company is a corporate and is always a Body corporate.
But every Body corporate need not be a company.
If the trust is the company then Sec 295,297,299 will apply.
