28 May 2013 Please confirm me whether an employee can claim LTA in his personal return where he forgot to submit the claim for LTA to his employer and employer had not allowed it?

employee alone cannot claim the LTA in his income tax return, this perquisite valuation need to be calculate and allow exemption by employer after verification and satisfying the details

29 May 2013 LTA can be claimed in 4 year block 2 times, it is not financial year based also. it is calender year based so you can ask your employer to consider now
