15 May 2014 There is a law firm who charge from us some amount, describe in his invoice as a "Monthly Retainership" .
whether its covered under legal service and service tax liability on receiver under the reverse charge mechanism.
Please suggest me about this.

15 May 2014 Yes this amount is liable for ST. And also TDS u/s 194J if amount crosses Rs. 30K @10% exclusive of ST.
