02 May 2016 As per section 208 of the Income Tax Act, 1961
'advance tax shall be payable during a financial year in every case where the amount of such tax payable by the assessee during that year, as computed in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter, is ten thousand rupees or more'.

u/s 234B,C, right.... also let me know will
this formula of 10000/- be applicable on
partnership firm and on companies,

02 May 2016 Yes No Interest U/S 234 B & C for default in Advance Tax. Yes Limit of Rs. 10000/- is applicable on partnership firm and companies also.
