Hi,
If a person is practicing as an individual professional (lawyer/CA/CS), is it necessary that the address on the PAN card of the assesses should be the place of business which is a rented premises? Currently the address on the PAN card is that of residence.
Please advise.

It is not necessary that the address in the Income Tax database should be the office address.
