Additional SSC 1% of CST

12 June 2008 We are a dealer of Andhra Pradesh. We have purchased a good from a dealer in Kochi. The Kochi dealer has charged Additional SSC 1% on CST. Can any body tell me what is Addl. SSC 1%. Whether I must pay this 1%.

16 September 2008 It is very interesting to know that some type of surcharge is levied on CST. I am of the opinion that CST Act and as well constitution of India does not allow it.
