I would like to know how do i setup an accounting system for a hotel and resort business. what Kind of Ledgers etc. I need to create? Is tally a good choice or do i have a choice?

Ya u can do it in tally very easily by creating the account heads that u want

That I know, I can create the desired accounts but I want to know are there any specific accounts for bookkeeping in this business i.e. hotels resorts etc. for eg. crockery breakage a/c etc. It would be a great help if the revered experts can be a bit more specific and elaborate.

Tally is a good package. For storage of goods, Room detail you can maintain manual books
