Dear Sir,
my company incorporate in apr-2011 & purchase furniture as on 1-03-2012 of Rs. 100000 than how much amount we claimed as depriciation.

can be claimed depreciation for 1 month (March-12) as applicable rate under Companies act.

In case of companies depreciation can be claimed on prorata basis at rate applicable.
In case of income tax act - 50% of rate applicable.
In case of income tax act - 50% of rate applicable.
