i am working with hospital as a/c assis.

we applied a bill from insurance company( tpa)with service tax.

example: bill amount= 15442( including service tax of rs.1442)

at the time of recept from tpa company company pay only rs 14000.

and not explain why deducted the amount in this condition service tax is rs only 400

is condition mai ham kitna service tax deposit karwaengi aur balance amout ka kya hoga

29 December 2010 Service Tax is payable on receipt basis. Since you have received only Rs.14000 you have to calculate the service tax payable under the inclusive method, i.e. the sum of Rs.14000 is inclusive of service tax. Hence the service provided would be Rs.12693 and the service tax payable would be Rs.1307.

The treatment of the balance amount due as per your norms - either it is treated as bad debts or allowed as discount or any other treatment normally followed by your organization.

and i have a one more problem
we have three employee on daily wages problem is this in which account we can show salary of those three persons.

those three person are under the minimum wages act.

salary of those persons is rs 3000/- pm
