11 February 2014 pls anyone suggest me abt rti ..is it psbl 2 get certifird copies of evaluated answer sheets of ipc exam under right to information ...

11 February 2014 well given that ICAI already has provisions for providing certified copies of the answer sheets, RTI may not work in this case...apply for certified provisions under the provisions provided by ICAI.

11 February 2014 bt under rti provision some fee relief can be got ..under rti only 10 rupess are paid bt under icai provision 500 rupees is paid so give information about rti provision .....

11 February 2014 RTI is to be used where there is no other provision for asking for the same information....not otherwise...even if you file RTI, ICAI can ask for fees for providing documents such as photocopy cost, courier cost etc..

but remember if ICAI doesnt respond to your application, you might just end up losing chance to apply for the certified copies (as it is time barred) and may run pillar to post to get a reply. you may file appeals but that takes time. so apply your mind.

14 February 2014 also be assured that ICAI has a right to charge you the cost as per RTI(regulation of fee and costs) rule 2005.
