whether PF applicable for contract workers? how can treat this expense in our accounts?

PF applicable to contract workers. Treat it as a part of payment for works.

If you are paying wages directly to Workers (contract workers) deduct PF from them and deposit alongwith your contribution etc. The accounting entry is same as that of PF in case of your own workers. If payment is made to Contractor and he is liable to pay the workers then pay the contractor as per your agreement but ensure that PF (employee and employer contribution) is deposited by the Contractor.

If the contract employees are directly employed by u, then u must deduct and deposit PF. The treatment will be same as of ur other employees(workers). But if there is involvement of any sub-contractor, then u r not responsible to deduct PF of the workers.

in case of PF registration, How can calculate number of employees in the estanlishment? whether employees salaries above 15000 including this part or not ?
