17 January 2014 Hello, I has join my article ship on 20th, NOV 2013(Direct entry Scheme). And eligible for November 2014.My query is, is it necessary to complete GMCS before my Exam and if any problem of completing GMCS after exam.

18 January 2014 you are required to finish gmcs in first year...as on today ICAI has not linked eligibility for exams with GMCS...but no point in waiting for ICAI to come put with any punitive measures...please complete GMCS at the earliest...
