Can i claim preventive health check up U/s 80D even if i have no policy purchase or renewal premium paid during the year. Please help

If you have incurred any expenses for Health test for
# Self
# Spouse
# Dependent children
# dependent parents
Then you can claim deduction u/s 80D up to Rs 5000/-. This deduction can be claimed even amount has been paid in cash. You should keep the bills.
