14 March 2014 an assessee has sold house property within 5 years of purchase. his housing loan prinicpal amt is taxable as mininmum period of holding is 5years.
what about interest - u/s 24, can it be claimed under incoem from house property in year of sale

there should not be any problem under "income from house property" as there is no condition prescribed for minimum holding period therein.
