salary paid to directors of a company more than rs 20000/-
will be disallowed? or not?

Any cash paid for any expenditure incurred in cash, if the payment to any person exceed 20000 per day, the same is disallowed u/s 40(A)(3). So, salary upto Rs. 20000 will not disallowed but if it exceed rs. 20,000/- it will be disallowed
