07 July 2014 Dear All,

We had one of client whose income is 1 lacs p.m received under 194J for 12 months Apr'13 to Maar'14 and tax deducted is Rs 1.2 lacs being 10% under 194J.

Now, for filing income tax returns please confirm what kind of expedniture I can claim from the income under 194J.

07 July 2014 all those exp which were incurred to earn this income will allowed as deduction in this regard.

plz clarify on @ reant as per 80G should be Rs 2,000 is tht mean max i can claim Rs 2,000. If I paid rent Rs 8 k pm can claim is that my business expenditure, aprt from expenses like rent, conveyance, office maintaince etc....
