10 May 2010 What is a 'C' Form? When is a 'C' form given? And what is the procedure for applying for a 'C' Form?

10 May 2010 Form C is issued by the dealer for purchasing goods from the dealer out side the state in which he resides the effect can be understood ny looking at following example IF Mr A Registered Dealer in Hyderabad (AP) wants to purchase goods from Mr B a registered dealer in Mumbai.Mr B who is selling the goods will charge VAT @ 4% or 12.5% on the goods if Mr A issues him “C” Form then Mr B should Charge him CST @ 2% so Mr A is SAving Tax.

11 May 2010 Apply for C form Fill up Form C Requistion form as per state forms are seperat.manual/electronic as per state vat rule.

submit C form Utilization (Previously Issued by department)

Authorization letter from Director

Produce Purchase Bill/GR/any others Proof

Purchase reco with Form required amount and Vat/CST sales Tax return amount.

any other document required by department.
