Wrong remittance of tds

31 January 2013 Hi all. I'm currently working in union bank of india as a PO. And I remits TDS on staff salary per month to a branch of sbi. But in october 2012 i remitted wrong amount of tds by mistake. There are only three staff members in my branch - I , BM & Clerk. While remitting TDS that month mistakenly I remitted more TDS in my name (more than what was stated in the salary slip) and less TDS in their name. Now can anyone plz tell me what should i do now. Thnx in advance.

31 January 2013 Mr ritedh., payment is made more., is that what you are worried about.,

the payment which you made., can be adjusted to your peers in filing form 26q TDS return.,

you did only tds payment., in payment your pan nos., wont be coming., it will be affected only while filing your 24Q and 26Q returns

01 February 2013 what i got you paid total TDS right. but in your name you paid more and in others name you paid less.
if you only paid and return is not submitted. then you can correct it in 24Q.
