Wrong filing of online application of ca final exam nov 13

I Ajay Shivbalak Yadav, CA FINAL Student From WESTERN REGION (Reg No.: WRO0265297) has cleared Group II in May 2013. While applying for Nov 13 Examination, I by mistake, selected Group 2 instead of Group 1 and made payment for the same.

Please provide me solution to rectify this error & also do provide me the direction for the same.

Please Reply To This Query As Earliest.

18 August 2013 As per the instructions of the ICAI for exams according to the point no:11 once opted under any circumstances group,medium,center will not be change.

However please contact to the examination department some times they may excuse our mistakes and make changes for our mistake.

For last attempt i saw a query same as you and they approached examination department to make the correction of group of exam and got success.
So it may also help to you,

18 August 2013 I TALKED TO CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE OF ICAI (PH.NO:-02226160523).HE TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TO TAKE THE PRINTOUT OF THE SAME AND MAKE CORRECTION MANUALLY AND SEND APPLICATION OF CORRECTION ALONG WITH THAT FORM.
NOW I AM CONFUSED WHAT TO DO? SHOULD I GO TO ICAI-WESTERN REGION OR DO WHAT THE EXECUTIVE TOLD ME? PLEASE HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Helpline Telephone Numbers: 0120-3054 851, 3054 852 , 3054 853, 3054 835.

The above numbers are related to the examination department so they properly guide you.

You called to your Mumbai chapter they didn't deal with the examination related activities so they may not give proper answer or solution. So better to contact any of the above numbers.

If you want to visit ICAI Chapter office then you have to visit New Delhi Branch because of it is deals with examination activities.

19 August 2013 Then follow the executive what he told.

But my suggestion is even you visit western region better to send a copy to the examination department to whom we sending exam application form at the same time the copy shall be mail to the E-mail address: final_examhelpline@icai.in along with your exam application details.

Because of as per my view examination department shall take care about the correction regarding exam form etc...

I think the above process is perfect and got successful.
