can anyone tell me what are the conditions and consequences of writting off of foreign debts?

You shousd have proof that u tried via legal way to recover debts but couldnt recover it.

There are specific guidelines of RBI for the same . also the Indian company should have brought the non payment issue on timely basis to RBI, only then the write off is permitted.
