as a work contractor can I avail input tax credit for my services?

If you are supplying the services to your company and charging GST you can avail the input credit. Your question sounds that it is a proprietorship firm where you are giving services, if it is so, why are you billing ?

Yes you can avail credit of input tax paid on purchases.
