16 January 2016 I had made a work contact with Party 'A' i.e, it provide me material as well as labour. Again I had made contract verbally that it provide me only labour for doing some work (just labour not material) then please tell me under which it will be covered under WCT or Manpower supply??

03 August 2025 Exactly! When Party 'A' provides only labor to do some work (and no materials), this is considered a work contract service (specifically a labor contract), not manpower supply.

Work Contract (WCT) involves executing a job or work (like construction, repair, maintenance) using labor.

Manpower supply is simply providing personnel for deployment under the control of the recipient, without the responsibility of completing a work.

So, your verbal contract supplying only labor to carry out work falls under work contract services, not manpower supply.
