my client has no vat no. His turnover above 10 lakhs. He has doing contractor work in co. he has service tax no. in works contract catagory. but he has no vat no.

YES TAKE S TAX WITH OUT S TAX NO
FIRST TAKE VAT REGISTRATION AND PAY VAT ON COMPOSITION SCHEME (5%ON GROSS)
HE HAS NOT USE ANY MATERIAL NOT REQUIRED VAT BUT HE TAKE S TAX WRONG CLASSIFICATION.
ONCE CONFORM USE MATERIAL OR NOT
