My company is planning to get ECB Loans for construction of a new factory and also for purchasing the machinery.
The same is going to be processed through Bank of Tokyo and Mitsubishi at Japan. We will have to pay the up-front fees to them.
Now my question is as follows:
1. Is service tax is applicable
2. Did i have to deduct withholding tax for the same.

Service Tax is applicable in all cases. The withholding tax rate will depend DTAA between governments.
