can a whole time director retire on rotational basis if the terms of appointment are silent on the matter.? Section 269 states that a whole time director cannot retire by rotation.

Yes, a whole time director can retire on rotational basis if and only if the terms of appointment are silent on the matter.

But i disagree that Section 269 states that a whole time director cannot retire by rotation.
