i am very confused as to who owns the bse ? and how does one buy stake in bse ? is it like other public companies or completely different ? plz someone explain

many institutions and individuals (evenin including famed Harshad Mehta) have share holding in BSE. It includes FII, Indian banks etc. some of the shareholders names are SBI, LIC, Blue Star Diamonds, Deutsche Borse etc. There are individual investors too including one of the ex-infosys director (I am not sure if he still owns any stake in BSE or not)
