24 July 2013 Select any section which is there in the TDS return of the related quarter.

24 July 2013 But in paper challan (ITNS 281) there is a separate line item viz., 'fee under section 234E' which may be filled in and used for the payment.

24 July 2013 Yes Sir that needs to be filled. I think he is asking about Type of Payment like 94C, 94J, 94A etc. So any Section code which relates to the TDS return can be filled.

24 July 2013 Gupta ji is correct. In ITNS 281 paper challan also, such section code is required.
