Which itr to be filed

28 July 2014 I am a salaried employee. I have purchased jewellery and TCS made on that purchase u/s 206C. What ITR I should select and where should I provide jewellery purchased details.

28 July 2014 You need to file ITR3 and and claim TCS amount in Sheet TDS.

29 July 2014 Thanks for your reply but I have a small doubt...
ITR-3 meant for Individuals/Huf being a partner in any Firm not having proprietory business. But I am a salaried employee so how ITR3 is applicable to me. My salary income exceeds 25 lakhs and I purchased jewellery worth above 5 laksh on that TCS made u/s 206C. When I tried to fill ITR1 & ITR2 it is not accepting since I have TCS u/s206C. I don't find where to mention this jewellery amount in the ITR. Please help me out.

29 July 2014 There is no place to Claim TCS in ITR2. Its there only in ITR3 & ITR4.

Since your salary income exceeds Rs 25 Lacs you have to mention Jewellery details in Sheet AL.
