04 April 2009 Hi freiends . This is devendar (CA Final).

Can you plz suggest me with regard to the book for Accounting standards .
I just need a book which should give the clarity of the concept in simple language with examples .
Iam not taking coaching and want to prepare on my own.
plz suggest me in this regard.

Because during my ca course, i done complete self study.

Regarding AS books, you need to buy 2 books. One by taxmann, D.S.RAWAT. and second book by Bharat, Dr. Sanjeev Singhal.

04 April 2009 Book by D.S. Rawat is good because it covers the important and relevant concepts only from examination point of view.

Book by Sanjeev Singhal is important because from that book you need to see just examination question which are given there in a very systematic way.
