01 November 2010 A co has entered in joint- agreement with a partnership firm to promote a new co. in which co A having 51% share capital where as firm will have 49% shares . now For co A what will be relational holding subsidiary or joint venture with new co . pls reply soon.

I agree with you that partnership firm can not become member in its own name only the partners of the partnership firm can become member of the company but here is the question about a Company A which will hold in its name 51% of the shares.
