Whether E invoice as required in GST can be customised as per requirement such as we have to mention details such as LUT NUMBER in invoice.

E-invoice in GST has a standardized schema prescribed by the government for interoperability and validation — this means the core data fields (like invoice number, GSTIN, taxable value, etc.) must follow the exact format and structure mandated.
However:
You cannot customize the mandatory fields or add extra fields like LUT Number directly into the e-invoice JSON schema submitted to the government portal.
But you can customize the physical invoice format (the printout or PDF that you provide to your customer) to show additional details like LUT number, terms, logos, etc., alongside the IRN and QR code.
The LUT number typically is not part of the e-invoice JSON but can be mentioned on the invoice copy for the customer.
In short: No customization in the e-invoice JSON format is allowed, but your invoice printout format can include additional info like LUT number.
