21 March 2013 I have cleared my both groups of IPCC in May 2011, as soon as the results were declared in August i've joined Article Ship (25.08.2011). By the time i've joined my Article Ship Training i've undergone 100hrs ITT training but i've not undergone my orientation programme due to some problems and i attented the Orientation Programme in the Month of November in the same year(2011). After completion of Orientation, then i've applied for registration of Final, then i received a letter along with Final Registration from the institute which stated that- since i've completed my Orientation in the November, my articles period is going to be counted from the next day of completion of the programme i.e., 28.11.2011. can u please be able to tell me when will i be eligible to my CA FINAL Exam May 2014 or Nov 2014

As per Regulation 50 of the CA Regulations, 1988, a student will be eligible to appear in Final Exam, after completing of 30 months (2 Years and 6 months) of article ship.

As per this you will be eligible for Nov 2014 attempt.

21 March 2013 but i have practically started my Article Ship in the month of August sir and it seems i have heard that orientation can be done at anytime before the completion of 3 years of Articles. why this is not valid and why my article ship is not being counted from August itself sir and if possible tell me if i'll be able to get my Final attempt in May 2014 sir

22 March 2013 Your article ship should be complete 30 months before appearing in final exam. Whether it is in break or in continues.
