22 October 2016 Rajshekar, wheelchair must not be treated as Asset, u must treat it as stock item(if u r asking about any medical shop). And if u r asking regarding Hospital then book it under Furniture & fixtures.

22 October 2016 No actualy a company which is not a hospital or nursing home purchased wheelchair as a precaution for the happening of any acident to its employee i want to know in this case how it should be recorded in accounts

24 October 2016 In that case u must book it as general expenses. Coz it can't be valued as fixed assets.
