Hey, I totally get where you’re coming from — feeling stuck and wanting a fresh start is completely normal, especially during something as challenging as CA. Here’s what I’d suggest:
1. Focus on Passing CA Final (Both Groups) in May 2011 Since you’ve cleared PCC Group 1 and are confident about May 2010 attempts, build on that momentum.
Keep dedicating quality time to your studies, maybe join a good coaching center in Delhi for final preparation if you believe that helps.
2. Change of Articleship Location It’s okay to want to move to a bigger city like Delhi for better exposure and learning opportunities.
Check the ICAI rules about transferring articleship. You need:
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current Principal.
Find a new Principal in Delhi willing to take you as an articled assistant.
File the transfer request with your local ICAI chapter and get it approved.
3. Choosing the Right Firm Try to get into a mid-size or bigger CA firm in Delhi (Laxmi Nagar or nearby areas).
Look for firms that handle diversified work — audits, taxation, advisory — to broaden your exposure.
Reach out to your contacts, seniors, or ICAI branch for referrals.
4. Boost Confidence & Learn Practical Skills Being in a new firm will help you learn different work and grow professionally.
Don’t stress about past failures; many students face this. Use it as motivation.
Try to balance study and practical work; both are important.
5. Stay Positive & Consistent You’re clearly motivated, which is the biggest asset.
