I want to know what is meaning of Association, what is it mean if name of establishment ends with Associates, e.g., Dinesh & Associates ( Chartered Accountants) PKF & Associates ( Chartered Accountants), SRV & Associates ( Advocates)

02 May 2011 There is no such special thing about the name ending wirh "& Associates". This is just to mention that the professional is carrying on his profession not as an individual but as firm (not necessary a partnership firm, it may also be a proprietorship firm). Apart from this, many CA's or other professionals use "& Company" to denote the firm status.
