I want to built my own website (not the bolg.

Kindly advise me on how to go ahead for this.

Basically their 4 things u should need to know .. b4 starting off ..

1. Domain Name : A url for your website

2. Web hosting : Also called web space for storing your webpages and other files like HTML files / Images / Flash etc.

Thier aremany website which will offer u both Bundled . Approx costing cud be something from 3000 to 5000 for a general (static) website having upto 100 pages

3. Web Designing : What will be look of your website . Who will design it . etc

4. Content : Articles / Links / Images

29 May 2008 Dear Suraj & Vinod,

My objective for building a website is to make one excel file (as a web page)on line which sould simultaneously be used by multiple users.

This file will provide some resultant data/values based on the data entered by the unsers. For example we have seen on many Bank's website providing EMI calculator etc.

However, My file will require periodic updation of internal data based on which external calculations is to be performed.

Further, please also advise me on the security aspects of my formulas as I dont want it to be reveiled even by the domain provider.

Request to please spare some time and guide me on this.

I m not pretty sure on making a website using Excel as your webpage..

If you are looking for a website for the spreadsheet and multiple user thing .. i then suggest you should try

Or Google Docs..

In meanwhile .. lemme find out .. ways to make excel based website ..
