AN ASSESSEE IS NOW LIVING AT AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT AND FILING RETURNS FROM AHMEDABAD GUJARAT ADDRESS.

HIS PREVIOUS JURISDICTION WAS AT AT MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA.

HE HAS FILED AN APPLICATION REGARDING TRANSFER HIS CASE TO AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT FROM MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA.

USUALLY, HOW MUCH TIME IT TAKES TO TRANSFER THE SAME.

Go to Assesing Officer at Ahmedabad and REQUEST him to check the status of that PAN assessee.

Assessing Officer informed that they are not provided file transfer from Mumbai.

Please guide as assessee seeks lower deduction of tds certificate.

20 August 2015 Please catch hold of somebody from Mumbai, who can go to the concerned ward and get the file transferred from Mumbai ward to Ahmedabad Commissionarate.
