I am a CA, cleared in 1st attemp n CS, AN ALL INDIA 16TH RANK HOLDER. I want to work in a bank, but have come across that in banks only reference matters. So any of the member having reference for banks in kolkata please do refer me. If any one interested plz let me know, so that i can send my resume across.

05 May 2011 It is not true that "in banks only reference matters". Your reading of the situation is incorrect.

Further, with your dual qualifications, what work do you want? Is it as a CA or as a Company secretary? One of them has to be your main job. Be clear in that.

Finally, apply to the banks through their websites.

05 May 2011 sir jee i am very clear about in which field to work & that is CA...and i have already applied through there sites..but till date no call...n as far as reference is concerned it really works sir..because i have seen that.Since i dont have any reference...so i am suffering...Thanks for your reply sir...
