wages paid to casual employees

24 September 2009 Dear sir

for example we have one project. for that we will appoint 10 employees.the employees will work only for 10 days to complete the project. for that only we will pay them wages. rest of the 20 days will not pay anything.
My question is this has to be consider as direct expenses or indirect expenses

24 September 2009 if permanent employee+ casual employee is more than 20 employee it should be liable to Epf & ESI.

All weges to be counted as direct exps.
