Voucher Entry in Tally Accounting Software

In Tally Accounting software Whether I can make voucher entry in date otherthan current date.For Eg. If current date is 1 April 09 & I wish to make voucher entry in 17 April 09. Books of Accounts begining from 1 April 09.

Choose F2 Change the date to required date.
Then pass the entry.

Then Go to gate way of tally Press
alt + F2
Change the current period from 1.4.2008 - 31.3.2009
then only it will accept all the dates
