29 January 2014 Are we required to file VAT return hard copy to the department. or merely acknowledgement is to be filed with department.?

03 August 2025 For Maharashtra VAT returns:

* You **file Form 704 online**, which is the VAT return form.
* After online submission, you need to **print the hard copy of Form 704** (including Part I & II).
* The **signed hard copy** along with the **acknowledgement receipt** and **submission letter** (the first sheet of Form 704) should be physically submitted to the VAT department.
