26 September 2013 In all states almost some common procedure is followed. Now it is mostly one by on-line filing of applications with uploading of necessary documents.Go to the website of your state vat dept,like :www.TNvat/mahavat/gujratvat/upvat/delhivat.nic.in etc.Click e-registration. You will get Form-1 or as required,fill in the particulars,upload documents such as 1)two photos,2)PAN card,3)rent agrement 4)Bank a/c detais 5) any other information like agency etc.
Once the form is acceptedyou will get an acknowledgement no. Take the print of that ack and go to the vat office for further action,like paying registration fees,security deposit etc....mjk
