14 July 2013 Now registration under VAT and CST Acts is facilitated through the web sites of the respective commercial/sales tax departments.Visit the web site of your stste such dvat,gvat,mahavat,kvat,tnvat,ctax.kar etc.thenclick e-registration,you will get the registration form fill it up ,upload required documents like individual's ID,rent agreement,bank a/c other licences etc. You will get a unique acceptance no,note and visit the your area VAT office. They will guide you further.You will have to pay registration fees,PT and security deposit etc. The staff will visit your business premises and file a report to the VAT officer Then the registartion is done...mjk
