10 January 2014 1) There is Exemption for Kolhapuri Leather Footwear which are hand made without any plastic or rubber and with the layers
of leather in the sole stitched together using leather strips.

2) Leather Articles- Boot, Shoes & Belts.
taxable at 12.5% as per Section 4(1) (b) of the Karnataka Value Added Tax Act,2003.
