In case of urd purchases of wooden by saw mill in the state of Gujarat and sales made to "branch of Daman state company" in gujarat with CST @2% against C Form.
Is VAT on URD Purchases is payble in the state of Gujarat?

no VAT is not applicable in this as it is an interstate transaction.

I think first i.e. before making an interstate sale one has to collect vat on urd purchases and pay to the govt. Then he can claim excess,if any,as refund,after adjusting it.....MJK
