Whether VAT is applicable when company is providing meal at concessional rate to its staff in its canteen ?

No Vat is applicable only when outsider caters providing meal to your staff

I am afraid to differ with Mr. Pragnesh. I think that even if the employer is providing meal at concessional rates to its employees, the consideration he receives for the same is subject to provisions of VAT.
I request Mr. Pragnesh to kindly enligh me on this issue.
